Marcia Decoster Presents.....

A while back the talented and much celebrated bead artist, not to mention revered teacher Marcia Decoster asked me to participate in a project featuring 30 bead artists and their work. It was a wonderful opportunity not only to share my work, views and creative process but also a priceless honor to be included in such a fabulous group of fellow beaders, each and every one of them people I appreciate, love to share with and greatly admire. I feel a great sense of pride to have been considered for this project and owe my thanks to Marcia, not just for this but for every thoughtful advice and wonderful guidance she has provided over the years. This beading community would not be the same without her. When I first started out on this journey of making beading my craft and full time occupation I was rather clueless...it was Marcia and people like her who were able and willing to offer generously of their vast wisdom and talent and help me along the way. I've never forgotten that unselfish kindness and I will be forever grateful. :) It has made me grow beyond what I ever thought possible and I have been extremely privileged to be able to pay it forward to beaders who are starting their own journey now. Much love to you all! ♥

The last few months have been very busy for me. First there was Hamburg, Perlen Poesie bead fair, where I taught three workshops. It was wonderful fun and great to meet so many of my talented peers in person. Now I just got back from teaching two workshops in London at the Big Bead Show, and I can finally take a bit of time off to catch up on things....I've been very fortunate this year to participate in various competitions, I'm going to post a few pictures of my work here...:)

Really proud of these two. So much fun to do and I loved the creative process of them both. Looking forward to the future projects I have signed up for and hope my muse will continue to play along...:)
